The Power of Words

** The CLIMB **

The Climb - Ted chose this motivational song because it talks about the process and journey of reaching a dream. During the course of life, you will have to face many struggles and challenges. Your mind may constantly tell you to give up. The people around you may urge you to stop dreaming for your sake. You will have times when you will feel alone and wonder what's the point pursuing these dreams when it's so hard? It is during these times that you must remember why you wanted those dreams in the first place. It is during these times when you look in the mirror and face your biggest enemy. You must be able to fight and keep fighting for your dreams even if your own reflection tells you to quit. Now once you overcome those setbacks and obstacles, you will be faced with more. Don't take it personally, that's just how life is. Those "mountains" are there to help you grow.
The stronger you become, the bigger the mountains you can climb.
The bigger the mountains, the bigger the dreams you can pursue.

Gloria Estefan - Reach Music Video HQ

I'm sure you have a list of top motivational songs where when you hear it, it will bring you into a certain state whether it's excitement, sadness, peaceful, etc. The motivation music above are just some songs I find motivational to me. Most of these songs have inspiring messages, some have an upbeat motivational sound to it, while others are just classic songs that conjure up images of inspiration. When you find inspirational songs that pump you up, use them to propel yourself towards the accomplishment of your goals.

Reach - ......
I chose this motivational song because of its message about reaching for your dreams.
We all have dreams or had dreams at one point. Through experience however,
many of us have learned that disappointments don't feel very good
and have decided to avoid having that feeling at all cost
even if it means to give up on their dreams completely.
Well, maybe doing this will help you avoid the feeling of disappointment
but there is an even worse feeling that you will have to deal with, regret.
Not much is worse than coming to the end of your life, looking back on it,
and having this feeling of regret tearing your insides apart.
The "could have's" and "should have's" will constantly be dominating your thoughts.
This feeling of regret is painful because you will realize it's too late
and there's nothing you can do about it. At least with disappointments, you can try again.
Once your time is up, it's up. So remember to reach for your dreams until you get them.

Live Like You Were Dying

Live Like You Were Dying - This motivational song has a good message.
It is basically saying, "Wake up! Life isn't forever. Sooner or later you will die.
Live life while you still can!"
It's easy to get caught up in the little annoyances of life and forget the big picture.
We fuss over the littlest things that don't even really matter.
If we can just take the time to realize that life is short, that tomorrow was never promised,
maybe we can start loving life a little more and appreciating what we have.
I don't really believe in the whole "live like you were going to die today" since that may
be a bit too depressing. So how about live like you were going to die in 3 months.
That's enough time to do a lot of things you want to do.
The point is, take advantage of the time you have here and make the best of it !!!!

Truth of God's Word is that "you can do ALL things through Christ who strengthens you!"
He will enable you regardless of how hard the "all" in your life is!

FOCUS on the POSITIVE things in your LIFE

Be grateful for all that you have, for the life you have been given, for your family and friends, your job, and your home. Be thankful and give thanks for the abundance and prosperity that the Universe  blesses upon you each and every day.
Feel the appreciation, happiness, and gratefulness for all that surrounds you and all that is within you.
Imagine having the life that you have always wanted. Then feel inside those feelings that you would have if you were already experiencing all that you desire. Combine that with these feelings of gratitude now for what you do have.
Focus on the positive things in your life. Release the negative thoughts, feeling, and actions. Release those feelings, the people and the things that bring you down or affect you negatively in anyway or at least set boundaries for yourself.
Live your life as if you already have the things that you desire. How? By believing and expressing yourself as if you had them or are living your dreams.
Take a few moments each day to meditate – seeing yourself in that beautiful house, with the mate of your dreams, living with a smile in your heart and on your face every day.
Accept those times that may not feel so gracious and look for the silver lining in that rain cloud.

Make every day count. Appreciate every moment and take from it everything that you possibly can, for you may never be able to experience it again. Talk to people you have never talked to before, and actually listen. Let yourself fall in love, break free and set your sights high.
Hold your head up because you have every right to. Tell yourself you are a great individual and believe in yourself, for if you don't believe in yourself, no one else will believe in you.
Everything happens for a reason. Nothing happens by chance or by means of good luck. Illness, Injury, love, lost moments of true greatness and sheer stupidity all occur to test the limits of your soul.
Without these small tests, life would be like a smoothly paved, straight, flat road to nowhere. Safe and comfortable but dull and utterly pointless. The people you meet affect your life. The successes and downfalls that you experience can create who you are, and the bad experiences can be learned from. In fact, they are probably the most poignant and important ones.
If someone hurts you, betrays you or breaks your heart, forgive them because they have helped you learn about trust and the importance of being cautious to whom you open your heart to. If someone loves you, love them back, unconditionally, not only because they love you, but because they are teaching you to love and open your heart and eyes to little things.

Change The World Promo 2011

Chase Coleman

When you’re dealing with something that can’t be changed, you have choices. You can choose to struggle, battle, and cling, and remain stuck—stuck in an unfavorable situation, with negative feelings. Or,  you can choose to accept the situation, let go of negative thoughts about it, and open up to a change in direction. First ask yourself: Will any amount of thinking, forcing, or coaxing alter my situation? If the answer is no, accept that fact. Without acceptance, you’ll continue to fight, resist, and struggle, which will erode your joy and energy. On the other hand, accepting the situation for what it is and choosing to go with the flow will bring tranquility, peace, and lightness.
Next, ask yourself: Which thoughts and old beliefs do I need to let go of? Let go of any thoughts about the situation that are causing upsetting feelings; such as impatience, jealousy, fear, or anger. One way to do this is to trust that out of every situation, good will come. When you choose to believe that good will come out of every experience, you’ll soon discover that perceived obstacles are really blessings in disguise. Sometimes these obstacles serve to nudge you in a new direction—one that will open up your world to magnificent experiences. Sometimes they help you become a stronger, better, and wiser you. Take all the positives you can out of each experience and choose to leave the negative feelings behind.
Finally, ask yourself: In which new direction would I like to head? It’s important to understand that going with the flow doesn’t mean you drift aimlessly and allow the tide to determine where in your life you’ll end up. It’s fulfilling to decide where you want to go and then take the steps to get there.
