"The Fighting Spirit"

  Derek Redmond is a British athlete. It may not be the gold medal that made him famous, but the high fighting spirit that he showcased at the Olympics in Barcelona (1992).
Derek was in the 400 meters semi-final and everyone had high hopes on him. But during the last 250m, he stumbled due to the hamstring injury. He was in terrible pain.
He could have stopped right at the spot but he refused to give up. He stood up and finish the race with the help of his father even he was suffering intense pain.
Derek had portrayed the true spirit of perseverance. How about you ??
